Diwan Beirut: Reviews & Ratings
On our visit to Paris we stayed in Rue Cler and we found a gem of a Lebanese restaurant. We tried the Tauk and Vegetarian plates. The food was fresh and tasty. Will visit again.
One of the best Lebanese restaurants in paris. It has a perfect location with it being close to the Eiffel Tower. The food is packed with flavor and is authentic. The star of the show for me was the hummus since it tasted fresh and paired with the warm flat bread was perfect. Highly recommend if you are in the area
Delicious Lebanese food on a very nice pedestrian zone. Very kind service. Definitely don't hesitate to go here! One thing that could be improved would be the interior design. It could be a much nicer place to spend time.

Nestled in the heart of Paris on the charming Rue Cler, Diwan Beirut offers an authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine that stands out among the city's diverse culinary scene. This restaurant beautifully captures the essence of traditional Middle Eastern flavors with a focus on freshness and variety. From their soul-warming soups and expertly prepared fish dishes to the silky, delicate mouhalabieh dessert, each plate tells a story of rich heritage and careful craftsmanship.
Dining at Diwan Beirut is an experience marked by vivid, vibrant flavors. The hummus, praised for its fresh, creamy texture, pairs flawlessly with warm, soft flatbread—a simple yet perfect harmony that beckons repeat visits. The mezze selection, featuring tabbouleh, moutabbal, and spicy potatoes, delights with its bright, balanced notes, making it clear why the vegetarian options here receive high acclaim.
What truly impressed me was the falafel wrap, which stands apart due to its crisp exterior and light, delicate texture—never dense or doughy. This attention to detail shows a respect for traditional recipes combined with a modern touch. The atmosphere, situated on a pedestrian-friendly street, invites a casual yet immersive dining experience, though the interior design leaves room for enhancement.
Despite some variability in food consistency noted by patrons, the staff delivers kind and efficient service, making both dine-in and takeaway convenient and appealing. Whether you seek a quick, flavorful meal after sightseeing near the Eiffel Tower or a leisurely exploration of Lebanese culinary heritage, Diwan Beirut serves as a vibrant and satisfying destination.
